Beginner Ski Package in Gulmarg – 5 Days

Our Gulmarg Beginner Ski Package is designed for first-time skiers and people who want to learn the fundamentals of skiing under the guidance of a local instructor.

The five-day program combines skiing lessons, practical training, equipment and transportation. It provides beginners with an opportunity to learn basic skiing techniques and gain confidence on snow.

Day 1 – Airport Arrival & Transfer to Gulmarg

Arrive at the airport and meet our representative or driver. Transfer from the airport toward Gulmarg. Depending on road and weather conditions, the journey may include a vehicle change at Tangmarg. During heavy snowfall, a chained vehicle may be required for the Tangmarg–Gulmarg road. After arrival in Gulmarg, check into your accommodation and prepare for the skiing program.

Day 2 – Learn the Basics of Skiing

Your first practical skiing session focuses on the fundamentals. The instructor introduces you to skiing equipment, basic body positioning, balance, movement on skis and essential safety practices. The aim is to make you comfortable wearing skis and moving safely on suitable beginner terrain.

Day 3 – Snow Plough, Falling Control & Turns

On the third day, training progresses toward controlling speed and stopping. You will practice the snow-plough technique, controlled falling and recovery, and basic snow-plough turns. The instructor will gradually increase the level of practice according to your confidence and ability.

Day 4 – Gulmarg Gondola Phase 1 Experience

On Day 4, you can experience skiing at higher terrain through Gulmarg Gondola Phase 1, subject to weather and lift operations. This provides an opportunity to apply the skills learned during the previous sessions in a different skiing environment.

Day 5 – Shopping & Departure

After completing your skiing program, enjoy some free time in Gulmarg for shopping and souvenirs. Depending on your departure schedule, transfer back toward the airport for your onward journey.

Intermediate Ski Package in Gulmarg – 7 Days

The Gulmarg Intermediate Ski Course is designed for people who already have basic skiing experience and want to improve their technique, control and confidence.

The seven-day program provides additional time for technical training, practice and progression. The exact training plan may be adjusted by the instructor according to your skiing ability and current snow and weather conditions.

Day 1 – Airport Arrival & Transfer to Gulmarg

Arrival at the airport followed by transfer to Gulmarg. After reaching Gulmarg, check into your accommodation and prepare for the skiing course.

Day 2 – Revision of Basic Skiing Skills

The course begins with a revision of fundamental skiing techniques. The instructor assesses your current ability and works on balance, stance, stopping, speed control and basic turns.

Day 3 – Short Turns & Long Turns

Training progresses toward controlled short and long turns. You will work on maintaining balance, controlling speed and linking turns smoothly on suitable terrain.

Day 4 – Carving & Edge Control

The fourth day focuses on improving edge control and introducing carving fundamentals. The instructor will help you understand how body positioning and ski edges influence direction and speed.

Day 5 – Gondola Phase 1 & Pole Planting
